RV HEALTHCARE PTE. LTD intends to implement pharmaceutical projects in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Singapore-based company RV HEALTHCARE PTE. LTD plans to implement projects in the field of pharmaceuticals in Uzbekistan.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments, Sunatulla Bekenov, held a meeting with representatives of RV HEALTHCARE PTE. LTD, Dr. Rahul Singh and Rajiv Kumar Sharma. The meeting was held in Khorezm region.

During the meeting, the sides discussed proposals for the implementation of pharmaceutical projects in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek side provided investors with information on the opportunities created in Uzbekistan, in particular, in the pharmaceutical sector.

The participants of the meeting highly appreciated the opportunities that are being created to conduct business in the country and expressed their intention to create a branch, presenting a presentation on the proposed project.

Representatives of RV HEALTHCARE PTE. LTD noted that in the first stage (in 2018) the company intends to open a distribution center with the establishment of a trade enterprise with foreign investments. The Center will implement more than 40 types of medicines, including auxiliary substances.

At the second stage, in 2019-2020 RV HEALTHCARE PTE. LTD plans to transfer technologies for production and packaging of high-tech antiviral drugs (hepatitis B, C and antiretroviral drugs), oral anti-cancer drugs, injections and biostimulators.

The third stage will be implemented in 2021-2022. The company intends to launch capacities in Uzbekistan for the production of pharmaceuticals.
