Prices to diesel fuel hike in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan changed retail prices to diesel fuel from 1 July 2014.

In line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 30 June 2014, the retail price for diesel fuel makes up 1,910 soums per liter from 1 July 2014. Earlier, the retail price for diesel fuel per liter was 1,710 soums.

The retail price for ECO diesel fuel grew from 1,785 soums to 1,990 soums per liter.

It is worth to mention that the individuals pay consumer tax at purchase of the fuel, which is currently equal to 265 soums a liter.

From 1 July 2014, the population can purchase a liter of diesel fuel for 2,175 sums and ECO diesel fuel – 2,255 soums.
