Uzbekistan Discusses Cooperation with Rothschild & Co
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 June 2026, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance Djamschid Kuchkarov held talks in Tashkent with a delegation of the international financial advisory firm Rothschild & Co led by Ariel Mallard de Rothschild, member of the Supervisory Board.
The meeting was also attended by Managing Director for the CIS region Oleg Pushkaryov and Vice President for the CIS region Farhad Babaev. From the Uzbek side, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Khurshed Mustafayev, Chairman of the Board of UzAssets Bobur Abdinazarov and other officials participated.
The sides discussed the transformation of state-owned enterprises, improvement of corporate governance systems and enhancement of the efficiency of state asset management.
Special attention was given to expanding cooperation with the international investment community and applying Rothschild & Co’s expertise in strategic financial advisory services, mergers and acquisitions, privatization processes and capital market transactions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed interest in continuing dialogue and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in priority areas of economic reform and modernization in Uzbekistan.
