Uzbekistan's Property Market Accelerates Growth in June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's real estate market posted steady growth in the first half of 2026. According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR), more than 171,000 property sale and purchase transactions were completed during the six-month period, up 25.3% from the same period last year.

Market activity rebounded noticeably in June following a correction observed in April and May. The number of transactions exceeded 25,000, increasing by 23% compared with May. Transactions were up 20.4% from June 2025 and 24.9% from June 2024.

Growth in market activity was recorded across all regions of the country. Compared with the previous month, the fastest increases in transaction numbers were reported in Bukhara region, up 50.1%, Navoi region, up 41.5%, and Samarkand region, up 31.8%. More moderate growth was recorded in Andijan region at 17.9%, Tashkent region at 12.2%, and Khorezm region at 0.9%.

On an annual basis, the strongest growth was recorded in Tashkent city, where transactions increased by 35.7%, followed by Sirdarya region at 26.9%, Navoi region at 26.3%, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 23.3%. The slowest annual growth was recorded in Jizzakh region at 5.7%, Ferghana region at 3.6%, and Tashkent region at 3.3%.

Around one-third of all transactions completed in June were registered in the capital. Tashkent recorded 7,800 transactions, accounting for 30.8% of the total market.

For January–June, positive growth was recorded in every region of the country. The fastest increase in transaction numbers was registered in Sirdarya region at 36.4%, followed by Tashkent city at 34.9% and Navoi region at 30%. More moderate growth was observed in Khorezm region at 16.7%, Bukhara region at 15.4%, and Ferghana region at 12.1%.
