Uzbekistan Mining Output Exceeds 42 Trillion Soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Manufacturing retained the largest share of Uzbekistan's industrial production in January–June 2026, with output reaching 549.7 trillion soums, or 86.3 percent of total industrial output, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Production in the mining and quarrying sector totaled 42.4 trillion soums during the reporting period, accounting for 6.7 percent of total industrial output, the agency reported.

The electricity, gas, steam supply, and air conditioning sector generated 41.7 trillion soums in goods and services, representing 6.5 percent of total volume.

Output in the water supply, sewerage, waste collection, and disposal sector reached 3.3 trillion soums, bringing its share in the structure of industrial production to 0.5 percent.
