Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, sent a letter of thanks to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressing his gratitude for the warm reception of the Kazakh delegation during the state visit to Uzbekistan from 14 to 16 November.

The letter emphasizes the historical significance of the visit, which gave a new impetus to strengthening strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.

Particular attention was given to the successful organization of the VII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States in Tashkent.

President Tokayev noted that the substantive discussions, the adoption of key decisions and documents, as well as Azerbaijan’s participation as a full member, elevated the forum to the status of a strategically important event for the region.
