President expresses his condolences to Anvar qori’s family

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 13 June, Anvar Qori Tursunov, a prominent religious figure and the main Imam-Khatib of Tashkent, died after a serious illness.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the house of the deceased on 15 June.

Surahs from the Qoran were read.

The head of state expressed his deep condolences to the children and relatives of Anvar Qori Tursunov.
