Gas Supply Restored to Bplastuz After Ombudsman's Review

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Business Ombudsman said natural gas supplies have been restored to Bplastuz LLC after reviewing reports that the company faced a possible shutdown due to a gas supply disconnection.

According to an official statement, the review was prompted by social media reports claiming that the company had been disconnected from the natural gas network and was on the verge of suspending operations. A meeting was held with representatives of the company and the Hududgaz Poytaxt gas supply branch to examine the situation.

Following the review, the issue was resolved. Natural gas supplies to the enterprise have been restored, and the Business Ombudsman said it will continue to monitor the situation.

The agency stressed that when state authorities apply enforcement measures to businesses, priority should be given to ensuring uninterrupted production, preventing disruptions to manufacturing processes and supporting entrepreneurs operating in compliance with the law.

The Business Ombudsman also reiterated that unjustified interference in the lawful activities of businesses is unacceptable and that protecting the rights of entrepreneurs remains one of the institution's key priorities.
