Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers and South Korea’s Hanseo University have signed a memorandum of understanding to train Uzbek specialists for the aviation and unmanned technology sectors.

The parties plan to launch vocational education programmes in Uzbekistan, with opportunities for participants to continue their studies in South Korea. Training will cover aircraft maintenance and repair, drone technology, artificial intelligence, software development and logistics.

In addition to vocational subjects, participants will study Korean and occupational safety regulations.

The Migration Agency will inform citizens about training opportunities, explain application procedures and coordinate cooperation with relevant organisations in both countries.

Hanseo University, in turn, will develop curricula, recruit qualified instructors and provide the equipment needed for training.

The university intends to assist graduates who successfully complete the programmes in finding jobs at partner companies and organisations.

The cooperation aims to prepare Uzbek citizens for employment in promising industries and expand overseas job opportunities in fields corresponding to their qualifications.

The announcement does not specify when the programmes will be launched or the criteria for selecting candidates.
