Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Competition Committee has designated Uklon UB, a foreign enterprise operating as a limited liability company, as a digital platform operator holding a dominant position in the market for intermediary services involving passenger transport and taxi bookings.

According to the Competition Committee, the decision was adopted through an official order issued by the regulator.

To prevent potential abuse of its dominant market position, Uklon UB will be required to implement an antitrust compliance system.

The measure is intended to ensure that the company's activities comply with competition legislation and prevent violations associated with its dominant position.

The Competition Committee will also monitor the digital platform operator's activities in accordance with Uzbekistan's antitrust regulations.
