President confers rank of Ozbekiston Qahramoni to three Uzbek citizens

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on 22 August 2013 on awarding three citizens of the country with the title Ozbekiston Qahramoni (Hero of Uzbekistan).

The award was granted for distinctive services to the state and the people in strengthening the country’s independence and deepening the reforms, long and self-sacrificing work in the industrial sector, as well as great contribution to upbringing the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the nation.

Titles of Ozbekiston Qahramoni were conferred to Turgun Azlarov, a teacher of math and computer literacy of Tashkent school No. 40, Achilbay Ramatov, chairperson of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari, and Anorboy Eshmatov, a head of farm Anvar in Jizzakh region.
