Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Medical masks necessary to protect against COVID-19 were delivered to Tashkent free of charge for the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan under an agreement with the China National Oil Corporation.

This agreement was signed as part of the systematic work ongoing in Uzbekistan to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, ensure the well-being of people and protect their health.

The medical masks were delivered by China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation through the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport and handed over to the Ministry of Energy.

The received medical masks will be distributed among medical centers specializing in the treatment of patients with COVID-19, delivered to the House of Mercy No. 23 in Tashkent, and are also intended for employees of the Ministry of Energy and its departments.
