Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Carlsberg Uzbekistan, brewery plant in Uzbekistan, started production Baltika No. 3 Classic and Baltika No. 9 Strong in innovative PET bottles with 1 liter capacity, the press release of the company said.

Earlier, Carlsberg Uzbekistan launched production of Baltika No. 3 Classic and Baltika No. 9 Strong in 0.5 liter glass bottles. The plant plans to produce 1 million liters of Baltika beer a year.

The release said the Baltika beer in PET bottles will enter into market on the eve of summer and its price will be 2,700 soums and 2,900 soums per bottle respectively.

Brewery of Carlsberg Uzbekistan was commissioned in autumn 2007. The capacity of the plant is 100 million liters a year. The plant produced Sarbast Original, Sarbast Extra, Tuborg Green, Baltika No. 3 Classic and Baltika No. 9 Strong.
