At the same time, revote of MPs to local Council of People’s Deputies took place at 480 electoral districts in the regions of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan on the same day.
The Central Election Commission said that the voter turnout was high as the main elections, which took place on 21 December 2014.
Over 5,700 observers and authorized representatives of the political parties attended the elections to ensure openness and transparency of the voting.
The candidate, who collects the most votes in revote, will win the seat at the Legislative Chamber of oily Majlis of Uzbekistan.
The CEC said that list of MPs of Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan, elected in the result of revote, will be published in local media.
