President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov started his three-day visit to South Korea on 27 May 2015 at the invitation of the invitation of President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye.
On 28 May, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and President of South Korea Park Geun-hye held negotiations in Soule. The sides discussed development of bilateral ties and realization of joint projects.
The Presidents adopted a joint declaration after the negotiations. Uzbekistan and South Korea signed several documents in various spheres after the talks.
