Uzbekistan Beverage Production Rises by 11.3 Percent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced beverages worth 11.6 trillion soums from January to May 2026, representing an 11.3 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The largest volume of production was recorded in the city of Tashkent, which produced goods worth 7.2 trillion soums over the five-month period. Tashkent Region ranked second with 1.8 trillion soums, followed by Khorezm Region, where production volume reached 867.8 billion soums.
Other regions with high production figures include Namangan Region with 480.4 billion soums, Samarkand Region with 430.3 billion soums, and Bukhara Region with 217.2 billion soums.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, large enterprises produced beverages worth 180.2 billion soums. In Kashkadarya Region, the figure stood at 96.9 billion soums, followed by Ferghana Region with 84.9 billion soums, Syrdarya Region with 70 billion soums, Andijan Region with 65 billion soums, Surkhandarya Region with 57.5 billion soums, Jizzakh Region with 27.8 billion soums, and Navoiy Region with 9.2 billion soums.
