Parliamentary delegation of Japan visits Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the House of Councillors of the Parliament of Japan led by former Ambassador to Uzbekistan MP Kyoko Nakayama visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 8 May 2015.

The Japanese side shared with their impressions from fruitful negotiations with the Government of Uzbekistan, meetings with the heads of Bukhara and Samarkand region, during which perspective directions of further development of cooperation between two states in various areas were discussed, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides considered issues in the bilateral agenda, practical aspects of holding the Uzbek-Japanese inter-parliamentary forum in Tashkent.

Ambassador of Japan, Fumuhiko Kato participated in the meeting.
