Over 3,800 Uzbek Citizens Visit Malaysia in Early 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–February 2026, a total of 3,834 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Malaysia for various purposes, including tourism, visiting relatives, education, and official trips, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This figure represents an increase of 824 people compared to the same period last year, indicating growing interest in the destination.

The majority of trips were made for tourism purposes, accounting for 3,617 travelers. In addition, 181 citizens traveled to Malaysia to visit relatives, 30 for education, and 6 on official business trips.
