Over 2,000 Uzbeks Visited UK in Early 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–March 2026, a total of 2,058 citizens of Uzbekistan visited the United Kingdom for tourism purposes, according to data from the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by 26.5 percent, indicating growing interest in travel to the country.

The majority of visits were for tourism, accounting for 1,544 travelers. A further 292 citizens traveled to the United Kingdom for educational purposes.

Another 163 people visited relatives, while 58 citizens traveled for official or business-related purposes. One individual reported traveling for medical treatment.

The data reflects the structure of trips made by citizens of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom in the first quarter of the year.
