Opera contest Competizione dell’Opera to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 14 international contest of singers of Italian opera Competizione dell’Opera will be held in Tashkent on 23-29 November 2014.

The contest is organized in line with orderof the Cabiner of Ministers of Uzbekistan. It is organized by Austrian Association Competizione dell’Opera, Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan, Uzbekteatr and State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi.

Young opera singers from Europe, Russia, South America, Australia and Asia, who passed preliminary casting, will participate in the contest.

The jury will include representatives of culture and art from Germany, Austria, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Uzbekistan and China.
