NTRC launches two new TV channels in test regime

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National television and radio company of Uzbekistan (NTRC) launched two new television channels in test regime on 14 November 2013.

Television channel Kinoteatr was created under Yoshlar television channel and it will show films and documentary films, as well as plays of local and foreign production.

The second channel Navo was founded under Tashkent television channel and it will broadcast classic, folk, modern and pop music, including foreign ones.

NTRC said that new channels were launched within the state programme on technical and technological transfer to digital television in Uzbekistan.
