New Romanian envoy holds talks at Uzbekistan’s MFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania Romeo Stanciu was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 11 July 2012.

The Ambassador handed a copy of his credentials, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

During the talks the parties exchanged views on bolstering bilateral relations.

Practical issues of strengthening relations on a constructive and mutually beneficial basis in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian areas were considered.

A mutual interest in intensifying activities of Uzbek-Romanian cooperation institutions, in encouraging involvement of the business circles of the two countries in joint projects was underscored.
