New minister of labour and social welfare appointed in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New minister of labour and social welfare was appointed in Uzbekistan. Information on appointment was published at the governmental portal Gov.uz.

According to the portal, Aziz Abduhakimov has been appointed as the minister of labour and social welfare of Uzbekistan.

Prior to appointment Aziz Abduhakimov had worked as the chairperson of the State committee on privatization, demonopolization and development of competition of Uzbekistan since November 2012.

At this post, he replaced Aktam Haitov, who had headed the ministry since March 2010. Currently, the post of the chairperson of the State committee on privatization, demonopolization and development of competition is vacant.
