New chairman appointed to the Uzbek Commodity Exchange

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Asadulla Kayumov has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX).

Prior to this appointment, Kayumov served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights. His candidacy was approved by the Exchange’s Supervisory Board.

Kayumov has been serving as the Deputy Chairman of the committee since 2022, and before that, he worked within the structure of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.

Since 2019, the Uzbek Commodity Exchange was led by Ziyoviddin Badriddinov, who was recently appointed as the Director of the National Energy Efficiency Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
