Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 373,389 live births were registered in Uzbekistan in January–June 2026, the National Statistics Committee reported.

According to the agency, single births accounted for the vast majority of cases, with 365,161 such births registered in the first half of the year.

Twins were born in 7,996 cases, while triplets or more children were born in another 232 cases.

Thus, 8,228 multiple births were registered in the country over the six-month period, including births of twins, triplets, and higher-order multiples.
