NAPU together with Kauko International plans to develop geothermal energy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Finnish company Kauko International intend to develop geothermal energy.

The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding on June 25, 2019 to develop the energy sector by attracting investment and introducing sustainable, reliable and affordable energy production technologies.

The document implies the use of a solution that uses geothermal energy, as well as a joint search for ways to exploit geothermal energy sources in the republic.
