MTS Uzbekistan launches new SMS-package, cuts prices

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan and 100% subsidiary of Mobile TeleSystems, announced about new SMS-package “SMS 550” and cutting cost of the existing SMS-packages.

New SMS package is launched from 1 November. Subscribers can send SMSs within Uzbekistan. The company also decreased costs of the existing SMS packages.

Currently, the operator offers following SMS-packages:

Nuriddin Shadmanov, deputy director-general of MTS Uzbekistan on commerce, said: “SMS-messages are one of popular services among our subscribers and that’s why we offer SMS-packages, which will allow to optimize expenses.”

The cost of each package will be withdrawn at subscription to service. Subscriber can subscribe to two SMS-packages simultaneously. Each package are active for 30 days.
