Mirziyoyev awards El-Yurt Hurmati Order to Allahshukur Pashazade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Department, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, who arrived in the country to participate in the first International Forum of Islamic Civilization.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of state thanked the guest for the book "The Highest Point of Brotherhood and Alliance," which is dedicated to the joint efforts of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues of further strengthening interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, the spiritual and moral education of youth, and the development of cultural and educational cooperation.

The President of Uzbekistan made proposals aimed at expanding bilateral interaction in the humanitarian sphere. In particular, the sides noted the importance of combining scientific potential to utilize digital platforms and interactive educational tools that allow the humanistic values of Islam to be explained to young people in an accessible way.

Following the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented Allahshukur Pashazade with the "El-Yurt Hurmati" (Honor of the People and Homeland) Order, noting his significant contribution to the development of science in the Muslim world.
