Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 28 November 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev held a meeting with the Rapporteur of the European Parliament on Uzbekistan Ilhan Kyuchyuk.
During the conversation, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, as well as the main points of the European Parliament resolution of October 4, 2023 on Uzbekistan.
It was stated that regular and fruitful contacts between legislators are important components of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union. In this context, the sides considered proposals to intensify inter-parliamentary dialogue, organize mutual visits of members of parliament and exchange experience in the field of rule-making.
The parties also exchanged views on certain issues of the international and regional agenda.
