Men Made Up Majority of Uzbekistan's Foreign Tourists in H1

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan welcomed 6,565,410 foreign tourists from 205 countries during the first half of 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Men accounted for the majority of international visitors. Between January and June, 3,627,564 male tourists visited the country, representing about 55.3% of the total, while the number of female visitors reached 2,937,846, or 44.7%.

The largest group of foreign tourists was aged between 31 and 55 years, totaling 3,390,402 visitors. Another 1,307,741 tourists were aged 56 and above.

The country also welcomed 1,089,647 foreign visitors aged 19 to 30, while 777,620 tourists were under the age of 18.

According to the National Statistics Committee, tourists from a total of 205 countries visited Uzbekistan during the first six months of 2026, reflecting the broad geographic diversity of the country's international tourism market.
