Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Malaysian company Aerodyne Group, one of the world's largest drone manufacturers, plans to enter the Uzbek market, according to Dunyo news agency.
Aerodyne Group’s CEO, Kamarul Muhamed, held a meeting with Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Karomiddin Gadoev. The discussions focused on introducing drone technology into Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
In the initial phase, the Malaysian side plans to launch agricultural drone services. Moving forward, the company aims to invest in the production of hybrid drones, tailored to Uzbekistan’s climate and technical conditions.
Additionally, Kamarul Muhamed expressed interest in establishing a joint training center, where specialists will be trained in drone operation and software development for UAV applications.
Founded in 2014, Aerodyne Group specializes in developing and deploying drones across multiple industries, including agriculture, logistics, security, and infrastructure monitoring. The company also manufactures special-purpose UAVs. Currently, Aerodyne Group operates in eight countries and manages a fleet of over 800 drones.
