Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s U-16 youth national team, coached by Aider Kurbaev, drew 3-3 with Kazakhstan’s U-17 team in their second match. The game ended 3-3 in regular time.
Yahyo Bakhtiyorov scored twice for Uzbekistan, while team captain Azizillo Erkinjonov added the other goal.
Following the draw, the match went to a penalty shootout, in which Uzbekistan won 5-4.
The teams also drew their first meeting, with the match ending 4-4. Thus, both matches under Aider Kurbaev ended in draws during regular time.
