Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Central Eurasian Venture Forum (CEVF) will return to Uzbekistan in April 2027, with MOST Holding and IT Park Uzbekistan signing a memorandum to continue their cooperation during ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026.
The forum will be held in Uzbekistan for the second consecutive year. The two sides plan to continue working together to develop the venture capital market in Central Eurasia, attract international capital and strengthen cooperation among investors, technology companies and startups across the region.
CEVF was held in Uzbekistan for the first time in 2026 and brought together more than 800 participants. They included over 260 entrepreneurs, 200 startup representatives, 140 private investors and representatives of more than 60 corporations.
The event also brought together representatives of more than 40 funds, management companies and development institutions whose combined assets under management and capitalization exceed US$6 billion.
CEVF 2027 will build on the partnership between MOST Holding and IT Park Uzbekistan. The forum will focus on strengthening links between the regional venture ecosystem and the international investment community, attracting capital and expanding opportunities for technology companies to enter foreign markets.
The CEVF programme includes investment deals, international partnerships, cross-border cooperation and startup expansion into new markets. Participants include venture capital funds, institutional and private investors, technology company founders, corporations, government agencies and development institutions.
As part of preparations for CEVF 2027, the organizers also plan to launch GP Academy for current and aspiring general partners managing venture capital funds in Central Eurasia. The programme will cover fund creation and management, attracting capital from institutional investors, working with Limited Partners, evaluating investment deals and developing portfolio companies.
A.A. Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, said that holding CEVF for a second consecutive year would allow the organizers to continue efforts to connect Uzbek startups with international investors and increase foreign funds’ interest in the local market.
Pavel Koktyshev, CEO of MOST Holding, said the organizers intend in 2027 to focus on turning international investors’ interest into concrete meetings, deals and new opportunities for entrepreneurs.
The exact date, venue, programme and list of international participants for CEVF 2027 will be announced at a later date.
