Malaysian parliamentary delegation visits Uzbek MFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the House of Representatives of the Malaysian parliament led by Deputy Speaker Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 7 March 2012.

During the meeting, the sides noted that regular contacts in various levels between legislative bodies of two countries are important part of the Uzbek-Malaysian dialogue.

The press services of the Uzbek ministry said that the sides exchanged opinion on perspectives of interaction in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The sides expressed mutual interest in deepening the Uzbek-Malaysian relations in all areas of cooperation.
