London-2012: Abbos Attoev heads to quarterfinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Boxer from Uzbekistan Abbos Atoev advanced to quarterfinals of the London Olympic Games in the weight category of 75 kg.

Abbos Atoev held a bout against Bogdan Juratoni of Romania. Atoev recorded a 6-4 victory in the first round, but lost the second – 3-4. In last third round, Attoav claimed a 3-2 victory to advance next round.

Uzbekistan’s two time world champion will face Vijender of India in quarterfinals.
