LG to produce refrigerators in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- LG Electronics (South Korea) plans to launch production of refrigerators at Samarkand-based Sino open joint-stock company.

Uzeltehsanoat and LG Electronics signed a memorandum on organization of refrigerators production at Sino.

The capacity of the plant will be 50,000 refrigerators a year. The capacity on assembly of refrigerators can be launched this year.

Sino was launched in 1973. It specializes on production of refrigerators and its capacity is 250,000 refrigerators a year.
