Kyrgyz, Uzbek leaders show interest in building of railway to China

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev met his Uzbek counterpart Islam Karimov late on the evening of 14 June.

The Kyrgyz presidential press service said that the meeting discussed topical issues related to further developing Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations, as well as exchanged views on some international issues.

Specifically, the sides confirmed their interest in the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
