Khalq Bank signs an agreement with Deutsche Bank AG for a credit line for 1.54 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Khalq Bank (the People’s Bank) of Uzbekistan, as a borrower, signed an agreement with Deutsche Bank AG (Germany) for a credit line in the amount of 1.54 trillion soums.

The amount of the attracted loan in accordance with the agreement accounts for 32.52% of the net assets of the state-owned People’s Bank.

This major transaction was approved by the decision of the Supervisory Board of Khalq Bank. At the same time, it is envisaged that the bank will use all borrowed funds to achieve its general corporate goals and goals of working capital, pay remuneration in accordance with the financial document.
