Apartment fire breaks out in Tashkent Sergeli district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A fire broke out in an apartment of a multi-story residential building in the Sergeli district of the capital today, 28 June 2026, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to the ministry, the Tashkent department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report of a fire at 15:25. The fire occurred in an apartment located in the Sergeli-8 area of the "Yangi Sergeli" mahalla.

Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 15:32. The fire was completely extinguished at 16:08.

The fire damaged household items over an area of about 30 square meters.

According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were no deaths or injuries.

Experts are currently establishing the cause of the fire and the amount of material damage caused.
