Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek national team boxers Feruza Kazakova and Sitora Turdibekova won bronze medals at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
Feruza Kazakova competed in the up-to-51 kg weight category. She lost to China’s Yu Wu in the semifinal and finished third in the competition.
Sitora Turdibekova won a bronze medal in the up-to-60 kg weight category. In the semifinal, the Uzbek boxer was defeated by Lin Yu of Chinese Taipei and subsequently finished third.
Thus, both members of Uzbekistan’s national boxing team ended their participation in the Asian Games with bronze medals.
