Jiangsu Women’s Orchestra wins Grand-prix of Sharq Taronalari

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The tenth international musical festival Sharq Taronalari ended in Samarkand city, Uzbekistan. China’s Jiangsu Women’s Orchestra won the Grand-prix of the festival.

Japan’s Shamisen claimed the first place. Representatives of Poland and Estonia were second, while masters from Costa-Rica were third.

Aykulash yulduzlari from Karakalpakstan received a special prize of the UNESCO. The winners in several other nominations were also awarded.
