Jaloliddin Masharipov suspended from friendly matches for six months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan international midfielder Jaloliddin Masharipov suspended from friendly matches for six months.

The Committee on Discipline and Ethics of the Asian Football Confederation took this decision.

The penalty also includes disqualification for one match for the red card, received in the quarterfinal match between Uzbekistan and South Korea at the Asian Games on 27 August (3:4).

Jaloliddin Masharipov received a red card for throwing a bottle of water after the match in the direction of the referee.

The player must also pay a fine at the amount of US$5,000.
