Islam Karimov appoints new Interior Affairs Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov appointed new Minister of Interior Affairs with his decree.

According to the decree, Adham Ahmedbaev has been appointed as the Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan.

He replaced Bakhodir Matlyubov at this post. Prior to appointment to the post of the minister, Ahmedbaev worked as the First Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan.
