Uzbekistan Expands Cooperation With Logan University

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev held talks with President of US-based Logan University Dr. H. Garrett Thompson on expanding cooperation in education and specialist training.

The discussions focused on practical steps to implement previously reached agreements with Alpharaganus University.

In particular, the sides addressed the launch of academic exchange programmes, the development of joint educational initiatives, and the creation of conditions for dual-degree education.

Special attention was given to training specialists in medicine, information technology, and modern educational technologies. It was noted that expanding cooperation with leading international educational and scientific institutions is viewed by Uzbekistan as an important tool for strengthening human capital.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to begin practical work on launching joint educational programmes starting from the new academic year.

The implementation of the initiatives is expected to expand access for Uzbek youth to international education and strengthen practice-oriented training of specialists.
