Iranian envoy wraps up his mission in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 16 September 2015, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Mardoniy Fard, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, transport and communication and other fields of mutual interest, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The productive work of the Ambassador for the strengthening and expansion of the Uzbek-Iranian dialogue has been emphasized.

The Iranian Ambassador, for his part, expressed his gratitude for created conditions and support for his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
