International Festival of Applied Arts to be held in Qoqand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An International Festival of Applied Arts will be held in Uzbekistan.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On holding an international festival of folk applied art”.

The International Festival of Applied Art will be held in Qoqand once every two years.

The first festival will be organized on 10-15 September 2019. The festival will host a scientific and practical conference on the theme “Prospects for the development of handicraft and folk arts and crafts”.
