Uzbekistan’s State History Museum Modernized with Digital Technology

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s State History Museum, founded in 1876, has been fully modernized using contemporary exhibition and digital technologies. The project was implemented by Turkish company Outdoor Factory, which specializes in developing visitor experience concepts, Turkish news agency Anadolu reported.

The museum’s exhibition halls, visitor interaction systems and digital infrastructure have been upgraded. The collection, which contains about 250,000 items, now features digital storytelling systems, multimedia applications, interactive zones and modern exhibition technologies.

Jannat Ismailova, director of Uzbekistan’s State History Museum, thanked Outdoor Factory for its work and said the project had brought the museum closer to modern museum standards. According to her, digital technologies and interactive applications have expanded the museum’s role as a cultural and educational center.

Anadolu also noted that Turkish companies have become increasingly involved in international projects involving digital museology, visitor experience design and cultural heritage preservation in recent years.
