Indian top military official to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chief of Army Staff of India, General Vijay Kumar Singh, will pay a visit to Uzbekistan this week, the Indian media reported.

According to NewKerala.com, General Vijay Kumar Singh will visit Uzbekistan from 16 November to 19 November 2011.

During the visit, the Indian General will hold negotiations with military and government officials of Uzbekistan.

The report said that the visit is aimed at enhancing relations between Uzbekistan and India.
