Indian External Affairs Minis to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Indian External Affairs Minister Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna will pay a visit to Uzbekistan on Friday, 23 October 2009.

Indian External Affairs Minister will hold negotiations with his Uzbek counterpart Vladimir Norov and Uzbek President Islam Karimov.

The energy-rich Central Asia has moved up India’s foreign policy agenda with frequent high-level visits from the Indian side to the region in the past few months.
