Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In 2024, industrial enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 25.1 thousand tons of ice cream, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Compared to 2023, production increased by 8.9 thousand tons, marking substantial growth in the sector.
A review of recent years shows that in 2017, Uzbekistan produced 18.7 thousand tons of ice cream, followed by 19.2 thousand tons in 2018. However, in 2019 output dropped to 16.5 thousand tons.
In 2020, production stood at 17.5 thousand tons, but in 2021 and 2022 output fell sharply to 10.9 and 10.4 thousand tons, respectively.
The sector rebounded in 2023 with 16.2 thousand tons, and in 2024 set a new record with 25.1 thousand tons.
